Convention Contests
We had an exceptional contest this year
with over 200 entries.

Jack DiSarro of Hillsborough, NJ received the Train &
Trooper award for his scratch built wood and metal WW&F Combine #6 in 1:13.7
scale.
Don Railton received several awards for
his Lobster Wharf including the Caboose Hobbies Best In Show Award, an original
watercolor of the Kennebec Central Railroad . The award presented by Art
Lort of Caboose hobbies was painted by
17 year-old Katie Sharp won the
Youth Award for her HO scale scratch built traditional New England Farm scene.
She did her research from the book Big House, Little House, Back House, Barn,
The Connected Farm Buildings of New England, by Thomas C. Hubka.
